Highlight

The highlight of my life was seventh and eighth grade basketball. Fifth and sixth grade, I was horrible. I was short and couldn't make a shot to save my life, until I hit a growth spurt right before seventh grade. I became one of the best players on my team. I would get a good number of shots, about ten to fourteen, and would at least every game get fifteen rebounds. I could get over the tallest guys I would play against. I made them feel like the short ones. The end of the eighth grade season, I got the most improved player trophy. The other two was MVP and most inspirational. I was really good, until we started to play basketball outside of school. In the tournaments we played, it seemed like all my talent just vanished. I lost my shot the most. Now I just play bball with my friends at like Mare Island Sports Center or at a park. I'm getting my shot back though, which is good, but I still need more practice.
